Paint Protection - Protect your car now!
Posted on July 20th, 2010 No commentsGTechniq C1 Crystal lacquer is designed to be applied by the Professional Applicator. It can be applied to new vehicles and those that have had their paint restored using P1 NanoPolish. For more information on C1 and P1 for cars, please go to www.gtechniq.com and read the full story.
Before you purchase the paint protection package offered by the car dealers, please take the time to read up on GTechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer. Perth Graphics Centre is authorised to apply this product to your new vehicle. Costs vary due to the amount of coverage so please contact our office for further information about cost. New cars can be treated in approximately 4 hours providing they are cleaned correctly first. Curing takes a few more hours so the vehicle will need to be booked in for a full day. After treatment we do have a recommended maintenance procedure and if followed, your vehicle will look fantastic for years to come. We haven’t come across a better product… period!
The process of application is labour intensive but does not involve heat or anything else that can affect your paint in a negative way. As the application process does not involve buffing, we can’t burn paint edges and don’t leave swirl marks in the paint. How will you know if it is done properly? After curing, throw a bucket of water over the paint and watch the way the water simply runs off.
Q: If I can’t buy C1 and apply it myself, what is the next best option?
A: C2 Spray. C2 is simply sprayed on. After spraying, dry with a high quality microfibre drying towel. C2 forms part of the maintenance program and can definitely be used after C1 to maintain high gloss and hydrophobic qualities.Q: Can I buy these products in my local auto shop?
A: No. GTechniq is only available in WA through authorised resellers and Perth Graphics Centre.Q: You’ve only mentioned a few products here but I see many different products when I go to GTechniq’s website. What about the other products?
A: Most GTechniq branded products will be available either off the shelf or within a week or two of ordering. Check back here for more information as we’ll be posting a lot more product information, tips and tricks shortly.Q: I live in Country WA and can’t get to your premises. What can I do?
A: Call us and discuss the pros and cons of having it done elsewhere. In some cases, the dealer will deliver the vehicle to us and collect it before it ships to you. If you just want to buy products, we can ship these after payment. If you have any other questions, please call us on (08) 9248 6226 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday.

GTechniq Smart Surface Science now in Western Australia
Posted on July 19th, 2010 No comments3S stands for Smart Surface Science. Many surfaces can now be treated to enhance appearance, prolong life and reduce cleaning time. Car paint will go dull over time as the surface oxidises and is affected by airborne contaminants. UV light also wreaks havoc. The same can be said for water craft and aircraft. What about glass? Have you seen glass when it’s new? What about when it has been installed for a number of years? The difference time and exposure make can readily be seen.
Now that GTechniq provide products to treat these types of surfaces and applications, you can extend the life of paint, reduce cleaning time and see more clearly through glass. We are proud to announce that Perth Graphics Centre is now distributing GTechniq products in Western Australia. More information to be posted shortly. In the meantime, if you have any enquiries, please call our office on 08 9248 6226.

Posted on July 9th, 2010 No commentsThe Hyundai iLoad is becoming an extremely popular van for tradies looking to have a cheap runabout while still getting an excellent warranty. Signwriting on the Hyundai iLoad is also simple.
Here’s an example of a partial wrap with the sides being printed and the text vinyl cut. The window is made from one way vision with overlaminate and all of it is produced using high quality seven year cast vinyl.
Head to our contact page for a quote for signwriting your van, car, truck or bus.

Black vinyl roof - Kia Cerato Koup
Posted on June 21st, 2010 No commentsWe often are asked to cover a car’s roof in black vinyl, be it matt or gloss. Here’s a Kia Cerato Koup which has been covered, the owner requesting gloss black to match in with the gloss black highlights of his Kia Koup.
The benefit of using vinyl is that you can always go back to your original paintwork when you want to sell it. With long term cast vinyls, you can expect years of life from your vinyl roof.
We can also do a matt grey roof, matt silver roof, or even a carbon-fibre roof finish. Matt black bonnets, matt grey bonnets, matt silver bonnets, or even carbon-fibre bonnets can be done as well. Call us and ask for a quote.
Please note that this is NOT a suitable option for hail-damaged cars as it is a sticker which will follow the contours of any dents that are already there.
Paintwork needs to be as per factory standard, but if you’ve got any queries, then by all means call us and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Van signwriting - use signage to brighten your vehicle
Posted on May 10th, 2010 No commentsIf you’ve just bought a white van, it’s obviously for work purposes. It can look a little bland, however we see it as a blank canvas to create a moving billboard.
Signwriting can transform your white vehicle by adding colour, different fonts, photos and logos, to give your corporate identity a touch of class.
Take this Mercedes Vito for example. We’ve turned it into a mobile coffee shop, and using high performance cast seven-year vinyls it’s going to last for years. It won’t fade, peel or crack and is able to withstand the harshest elements with proper care.
If you want fleet signage, or just a single car signwritten, then ask as for a quote - we’re up for the challenge!

Ventureshield stone chip protection film - Audi A3
Posted on March 31st, 2010 No commentsThis new Audi A3 2.0 TFSI quattro is the owner’s pride and joy, so how does he keep it in pristine condition? With Ventureshield stonechip protection film, of course.
It’s no ordinary film - it’s more like an optically clear rubber which uses its elasticity to prevent any damage to your paintwork by causing sand, grit and stones to bounce off, without causing chips.
It’s available in different sizes and can be cut to fit almost any vehicle. We have current kits on hand, which are updated daily as new model cars are added.
And when you want to sell the car, you can either peel it off to reveal brand new paint underneath, or leave it on as a selling point.
Ventureshield has a lifetime warranty and is only installed by professionally trained fitters. The conditions in Australia mean any preventative measures are going to be worth their weight in gold. To prevent stonechips, call us about Ventureshield for your car, bike, truck or anything else which moves.

One Way Vision - See through window signs
Posted on March 11th, 2010 No commentsSignage that can be see through has heaps of advantages. For example, it maintains your privacy, cuts down glare and still allows you to see what’s going on outside. That’s why we are often asked to produce one way vision graphics which have tiny holes to allow it be a see through sign.
Avon Truffle Company asked us to make a one way vision sign for the back window of its Great Wall X240 SUV. You can see from the photo above that they still have complete rearward vision, whereas the top photo shows how it looks from the outside.
See through window graphics can be used for offices, cars, buses, or any application in which you need to see out, but still want your graphics to be seen.
Contact us for further information or to discuss any options for one way vision signage.

Vehicle Wraps - Half is still good!
Posted on January 20th, 2010 No commentsOur client was looking for great value and despite that full wraps are all the rage, sometimes a half wrap will provide just as much exposure but at a much better price. Why just wrap half a vehicle? Full wraps require removal of quite a bit of hardware including door handles, badges and more. Wrapping only half a vehicle without removal of all the components results in a faster cheaper job and yet the exposure is almost as good as a full wrap. Value for money, a half wrap is pretty hard to beat.
The same materials as are used for full wraps are also used in this application. We use Automotive Grade vinyls and laminates and the images are printed on a high quality solvent printer to ensure long life vibrant colour prints. The overlaminate ensures that the print is not directly exposed to the elements and can’t be “washed off”. Our expert fitters have all completed training courses in how to wrap vehicles and are now very experienced in this aspect of signage.
If you’re looking for maximum impact at minimum price, consider a half vehicle wrap. Call us today for an estimate.
