Signwriting a Hyundai iLoad
Posted on July 9th, 2010 No commentsThe Hyundai iLoad is becoming an extremely popular van for tradies looking to have a cheap runabout while still getting an excellent warranty. Signwriting on the Hyundai iLoad is also simple.
Here’s an example of a partial wrap with the sides being printed and the text vinyl cut. The window is made from one way vision with overlaminate and all of it is produced using high quality seven year cast vinyl.

Under awning signs
Posted on June 1st, 2010 No commentsTo catch passing traffic, an under awning sign is one of the most effective means of advertising. It’s mounted high enough to be out of the way, but still has enough presence to grab attention.
Under awning signs are usually made from aluminium (as you can see in the picture above) keeping it light but strong.
An under awning sign can be made as a lightbox (backlit) or as a plain sign with no lighting, depending on your budget. They can be made to suit most sizes and there are a few different depths to choose from. You can also have them mounted right against the awning, or with legs to hang down.
If you’ve got any questions regarding under awning signs, please e-mail us by heading to our contact page.

Van signwriting - use signage to brighten your vehicle
Posted on May 10th, 2010 No commentsIf you’ve just bought a white van, it’s obviously for work purposes. It can look a little bland, however we see it as a blank canvas to create a moving billboard.
Signwriting can transform your white vehicle by adding colour, different fonts, photos and logos, to give your corporate identity a touch of class.
Take this Mercedes Vito for example. We’ve turned it into a mobile coffee shop, and using high performance cast seven-year vinyls it’s going to last for years. It won’t fade, peel or crack and is able to withstand the harshest elements with proper care.
If you want fleet signage, or just a single car signwritten, then ask as for a quote - we’re up for the challenge!

One Way Vision - See through window signs
Posted on March 11th, 2010 No commentsSignage that can be see through has heaps of advantages. For example, it maintains your privacy, cuts down glare and still allows you to see what’s going on outside. That’s why we are often asked to produce one way vision graphics which have tiny holes to allow it be a see through sign.
Avon Truffle Company asked us to make a one way vision sign for the back window of its Great Wall X240 SUV. You can see from the photo above that they still have complete rearward vision, whereas the top photo shows how it looks from the outside.
See through window graphics can be used for offices, cars, buses, or any application in which you need to see out, but still want your graphics to be seen.
Contact us for further information or to discuss any options for one way vision signage.

Fascia Signage - Handcrafters House
Posted on January 20th, 2010 No commentsOur client, Handcrafters House in Midland WA needed a sign on their fascia but the deadline was quite tight. Rather than us tell the story, we thought it better to post the unedited Testimonial supplied by the owner, Michelle:
“

Recently I purchased a new premises for my patchwork & quilting business in Midland. The fascias on this building are huge and I wasn’t really sure where to start.I found Perth Graphics Centre online through the Yellow Pages and emailed them to which they replied first thing the following morning. (Note to self - prompt and professional). A day or so later Tony and I were standing out the front of my shop measuring the signage area and discussing what would be needed.
As I dabble in a bit of graphic design I wanted to design my own signage, which was not a problem for Perth Graphics. After a lot of emails back and forth, due mainly to my indecision on colour, design, size and placement (after all I wanted it to be perfect) we came to the final product which was installed less than a week later! All of this happened in the weeks leading up to Christmas, one of the most busiest times of the year.
I was so impressed with Tony & Clare’s team at Perth Graphics that I offered to write to this testimonial. The quality of their work, their professionalism and their patience with my ever changing mind is second to none. And now my artwork sits proudly above my shop for all to see! Thank you Perth Graphics!”
Thankyou Michelle. We appreciate the business too! Just a side note… Whilst this sign was being installed, we had one gentleman approach us and ask where Handcrafters House had shifted to. He saw the sign and pulled in off the street to come and see what Handcrafters House had to offer! Proof positive that good signage really does work.”

Metal Signs on shopfronts - how to transform your look
Posted on September 25th, 2009 No commentsOften the quickest way to give your shopfront a lift is to freshen it up with new signage. Old signs can look tired, and give off a negative impression. However with bright digital print, and new metal signs, you can transform the look of your shop and make it much more appealing.
Have a look at the Kebab King Van we renewed before the 2009 Perth Royal Show. Now it draws people in, with its eye catching graphics. Our team of professional in house designers spent time with the client, Snax Catering, and came up with a new image for this previously tired looking van.
If you would like a consultant to come out and discuss new signage for your business, head to our contact page, or e-mail us at info@pgc.com.au
